JavaScript Job: Front End Engineer

As Middle Front End Software Engineer you will be helping us to develop our main product, Developer Analytics. DA allows existing teams and projects to measure a unique combination of productivity, code maintainability and the cost of software developers who are contributing to a client’s code base.

We’re also looking for someone that wants to have the chance to innovate, improve their code skill, and have a real impact on the development and user experience of the Product!

You will have the opportunity to:

• Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code and peer to peer code reviews.
• Analyse User stories, requirements and translate it into features in the UI.
• Develop solutions with a focus on end-user experience, high availability, low latency and scalability.
• Collaborate and stay up-to-date with technologies trends, best-practices and share those ideas with the team through code reviews, team discussions, and project proposals
• Lead small features inside the team to deliver value.
• Work closely with the UX and Product team to ensure understanding of the implications of your Ul implementation.

What You Need to Succeed in this role:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Ul development.
• Vast knowledge in Javascript, HTML/5, CSS/3.
• Strong understanding of UX delivering value to the User.
• Thorough understanding of RESTful web services and experience working with them.

This could be an added bonus:

• Experience with any modern JS framework i.e. React, Angular, Vue.
• Experience with unit testing Javascript code (Jasmine, Mocha, Chai, Jest).
• Experience with responsive design and/or material, flexbox, grid design.
